Description

Tower House is a house dated 1779, located on the north side of School Street in Rothley. It is constructed of red brick with a hipped Swithland slate roof that slopes to the left, featuring brick end stacks. The building has two storeys and is adorned with two 8/8 sash windows that have gauged brick lintels. The central entrance consists of a 6-panelled door with glazed upper lights, an overlight, and a slated canopy. To the left, there is a 1-light window in an extension beneath the hipped section of the roof. Above the door, there is a slate tablet inscribed with the date '1779'.
