Description

Nos. 75 and 79 and the outhouse to the right are two cottages and an outhouse from the 17th or 18th century, with later extensions. The buildings are arranged in an L shape, with a gabled wing projecting forward to the right. The wing and the rear portion belong to No. 75, while the range to the left is No. 79. They are constructed of brick, with some granite and slate rubble stone, and feature thatched roofs.

No. 75 is two storeys high and has a brick end stack and a brick-coped gable. It includes a two-light casement window on the left side, a one-light casement with a buttress, and an upper 20th-century two-light window that is shaped like two sides of a triangle at the front. The entrance is on the right side in a further gable, with a door and similar 20th-century windows. There is a 20th-century extension at the rear. Inside, there are beams and an inglenook fireplace.

The one-storey outhouse, located between the door and the end of the wing, is rendered and has a thatched roof. Its door faces away from the road, and it has a two-light casement window to the left. This outhouse was once used as a dwelling.

No. 79 is one and a half storeys tall and features a brick front stack situated between two two-light eyebrow dormers. Below, from the left, there are garage doors, a one-light casement window, another one-light casement, and a two-light casement window, all beneath cambered lintels. The door is located to the right. The left end of No. 79 is made of stone and has two buttresses and a brick gable.
