Description

This is a 17th and 18th century cottage with a later extension. It is constructed of painted brick, with visible remains of timber framing, and has a thatched roof with stacks at the ridge and right end. The right gable has a brick coped verge. Originally symmetrical with end stacks, a later addition was built to the left. The front elevation features a variety of casement windows, including two 2-light eyebrow dormers, a door, and a 3-light casement with a cambered lintel on either side. A further left-hand addition has a stone plinth and both 3-light and 2-light windows, alongside a 1-light window above a 2-light window on the right end. A 20th-century two-storey extension is situated at the rear.
