Description
Two cottages, numbers 92 and 94 Main Street, date from the 17th and 18th centuries. They are constructed of granite and slate rubble stone, with a Swithland slate roof over number 92 and a thatched roof over number 94. A brick coped gable is visible on the right end. The cottages have a central ridge stack and a right end stack.
Number 92 features casement windows, including a glazed door with a single-light casement to the left, a door and a three-light casement to the right, and a three-light dormer window set below the eaves. Number 94 has a central glazed door flanked by three-light casement windows, and two eyebrow dormers above. A door with a two-light casement above is located on the right end. This property holds group value, contributing to the character of the area.
