Description
14 Forest Road is a house dating from the early to mid-19th century. It is constructed of red brick, featuring some whitened headers, and has a Swithland slate roof with brick end stacks. The building is two storeys high and has a double-fronted design with a two-window range. The windows are 16-pane sash types with stone cills and moulded stucco window heads, which may have been added later. The entrance is slightly off-centre, with a blind window recess above it. The doorcase is topped with a bracketed hood, and the front door is a six-panel type with a rectangular fanlight above. At the rear, there is a wing that is lit by cambered-headed three-light horizontally-sliding sash windows, along with a later extension.
