Description

NARBOROUGH COVENTRY ROAD SP 59 NW 7/52 No 1 II House. Circa 1800, altered C20. C20 colourwashed render over brick, dentil eaves, Swithland slate roof, flanking brick chimneys. 2 storeys and cellar, 3 bays. Sashes replaced by C20 top-hung wooden casements of similar appearance, the outer windows 4-panes wide, that to centre of first floor 3-panes wide. Central C20 door with semicircular radiating fanlight in fine wooden doorcase. Doorcase has fluted Doric pilasters, triglyph entablature blocks and open pedi- ment with unusual ogee arch motif above fanlight. Later rear extensions.
