Description
No 3 Gracious Street is a house dating from the late 18th century, with some alterations made in the mid-19th century. It is constructed of painted brick and has a cement tile roof. The building stands three storeys high and features one bay. At the base, there is a stone plinth and quoins. On the left side, a four-panel door with an overlight is set within a stone architrave that has a cornice. To the right, there is a canted bay window with sash windows. The first and second floors have top-hung 20-pane windows from the 20th century, which are framed in flush wood architraves. The stone sills and the wedge lintel on the first floor have been restored. The house has cogged eaves and an end stack on the right side. Additionally, there is a lead rainwater head and downpipe located to the right.
