Description
The Manse is a manse for the Congregational Church, built in 1779 and refurbished in the 20th century. It is constructed of pale red brick with paler headers and features moulded brick eaves, a hipped slate roof, and brick chimneys. The building is double-pile, two storeys high, and has three bays. The windows are wooden cross casements, all renewed in the 20th century, with those on the ground floor featuring cambered heads. The central entrance has a six-panelled door topped by a semicircular fanlight with intersecting glazing bars, wooden reveals, and an arched wooden architrave surround with a keyblock. The left bays are set close together, while the right bay is slightly further apart.
