Description

The churchyard cross, located 55 yards south of the Church of St George in Ticknall, is a medieval and later structure made of sandstone. It features a circular base consisting of three stone steps, topped by an octagonal cross base with step moulding. The lower part of the octagonal shaft is capped with a large, irregular square finial that has been repaired with cement and secured with an iron band.
