Description
The front range of the former Sharpe's Pottery, dating from the early 19th century, is a notable example of a pottery works. It is constructed from red brick and features a plinth. The building has a tiled hipped roof with a truncated chimney stack and a gable above the first-floor loading door. It stands two storeys high and is approximately seven bays wide. The windows are generally fixed with two or three lights and include glazing bars, although some have been replaced with modern glazing in earlier window spaces. The ground floor also features two sets of loading doors.
