Description
The former offices of Sharpe Brothers and Co Ltd, dating from the early 19th century, likely served as the manager's house for the adjacent former pottery, part of which is now the Sharpes Pottery Museum. The building is constructed of red brick and features a hipped slate roof with an L-shaped plan. It has two storeys and one window on the street elevation, which contains three-light sashes with glazing bars. The side elevation also features glazing bar sashes. There are two doors with tripartite fanlights. The back range of the building is a later addition, and it is probable that the house was re-roofed and the window lintels altered when this range was constructed.
