Description

Springfield House, specifically the front range, is an early to mid-19th century property constructed of local pinkish brick. It features stone raised quoins and an eaves cornice. The roof is covered in Welsh slate with brick ridge stacks. The building is two storeys high and comprises twelve bays, with a slightly irregular appearance at the ends. The sash windows have glazing bars and are framed by stone lintels and cills. The rear elevation is similar in style, but includes round-arched staircase windows at each end. A modern glazed projection is not considered to be of historical interest.
