Description
Windsor House is a building from the late 18th century or early 19th century, located in College Square, Stokesley. It is constructed of local light red brick laid in Flemish bond with pale headers, featuring a rusticated stone or stucco ground storey and alternating quoins. The roof is pantiled with later stone copings and has a brick chimney on the left side.
The building stands three storeys high and has two windows on the upper floors, which contain original sash windows with delicate glazing bars. The first floor features gauged brick flat arches above the windows, while the ground floor showcases a three-light round bow window with reeded pilaster mullions. To the right of the bow window is a six-panel door with an oblong fanlight, set within a quasi-classical surround.
