Description
Manor Farmhouse is a farmhouse built in the early 18th century, with an early 19th-century addition and 20th-century alterations. It is constructed of red brick with brick dressings and has plain tile roofs featuring brick external, lateral, and gable stacks. The building has a plain first floor band and consists of two storeys plus attics for the original farmhouse, and a single storey plus attics for the addition.
The original farmhouse has two bays, with the western bay advanced. It features a raised and fielded panelled door with a divided overlight above, located to the west of the eastern bay, and is sheltered by a rustic wooden porch. On either side of the door are 20th-century windows set under original segment heads. Above, there are two similar windows in the original openings. Further up, to the west, is a 2-light casement window under a segment head, and to the east, there is a later attic dormer with a similar casement window.
The addition, attached to the east, has a 2-light casement window to the west and an inserted doorcase with a 20th-century window to the east. Above the addition, there are two later gabled dormers, with the western dormer featuring a 3-light casement window and the eastern dormer having a 20th-century window.
