Description
Elm Farmhouse is a farmhouse dating from the late 18th century or early 19th century, with a later 19th-century addition on the left side. It is constructed of red brick and features a steeply pitched pantile roof with brick end stacks and brick gable copings on square kneelers. The building has an eaves cornice and is two storeys high, with the addition being lower. The main range is symmetrical with three bays, featuring a central 20th-century door with an overlight that has a segmental head. There are 16-pane sash windows on either side of the door, also with segmental heads. The first floor has similar windows, with the central one being smaller and altered. Each gable has a small garret window. The addition to the left includes a single 20th-century bay window on the ground floor and a tripartite casement window on the first floor. The interior has not been inspected.
