Description
Bridge View House, formerly The Navigation Inn, is a house dating from 1803. It is constructed of brick and has a low-pitched pantile roof that slopes lower at the rear. Brick pilaster doorcase, fanlight with radial glazing bars, and a door with six slender panels feature in a round-arched doorway. Flanking the doorway are segmental-headed tripartite casement windows. The first floor has similar windows, with a round-arched window in the centre. Tiny garret windows are located in each gable. A small, single-storey addition sits at the rear, with a stack. The eaves have a diagonally set brick cornice. The interior was not inspected.
