Description

Wolds Farmhouse is an early 19th-century farmhouse of stucco construction. It has a hipped slate roof with two chimney stacks running along its length. The 3-bay symmetrical front facade is distinguished by full-height, narrow elliptical-arched recessed panels that mark the bay divisions. The central entrance has a 4-panel door set within a panelled, pilaster doorcase, an overlight, and a triangular pediment. Sixteen-pane sash windows are contained within moulded surrounds, one in the centre of the facade and two to either side. The first floor also has three similar sash windows. The farmhouse returns two bays to the left and right. Similar sash windows are present on the left return, while later casements are visible to the right return. The interior has not been inspected.
