Description

Home Farmhouse and the attached outbuilding were built in 1827 and the early 19th century, with a late 19th-century porch added later. The structure is made of red brick with brick dressings and features a plain tile roof that is hipped at the western corner. It has brick gable and ridge stacks, along with a sawtooth eaves band. The farmhouse is designed in an L-shape, comprising two bays by three bays, while the outbuilding, which is attached to the east, has a continuous roof.

The farmhouse includes a central, late 19th-century, gabled, two-storey brick porch that features a panelled door beneath a divided overlight and a plain stone lintel. On either side of the porch, there are plain sash windows under segmental heads, as well as 3-light casement windows under cambered heads. Above the porch, there are two similar windows and a glazing bar sash window under a stone lintel. The west elevation showcases two 3-light glazing bar casements under cambered heads on the lower level, with one 2-light and one 3-light similar windows above.

The attached outbuilding to the east has two segment-headed doorcases with plank doors and flat-headed 20th-century 2-light casement windows on either side of the eastern door. There is a row of diamond breathers above, and further up, two 3-light glazing bar casements under shallow segment heads. The year '1827' is inscribed in blue brick headers just below the eaves.
