Description
White House Farmhouse is a farmhouse built around 1840. It is constructed of painted brick with painted stone dressings and features a hipped slate roof with projecting eaves and two brick ridge stacks. The building is two storeys high and has four bays, with the southern bay being polygonal in shape. This southern bay includes a central doorcase with a four-centred arch, double glazed doors, and a Y-traceried fanlight. On either side of this bay are blank angled walls, and beyond these, facing east and west, are 3-light casement windows with diamond panes and pointed lights. There is a similar 3-light window above the angled walls and a central single light window, also with a pointed head. The west elevation features three similar 2-light windows with diamond paned casements, along with a pointed doorcase to the south that contains a Gothic panelled door. Above this doorcase, there are three windows similar to those below.
