Description
Terrel Hays Farmhouse is a late 18th-century farmhouse that has undergone 19th-century alterations and was restored and extended around 1980. It is constructed of brick with brick dressings and features plain tile roofs with brick gable stacks and a sawtooth eaves band. The building has three bays and three storeys, with a large rear wing. The central entrance has a 20th-century glazed door set beneath a cambered head, topped by a 20th-century brick gabled porch with pierced bargeboards. On either side of the door are 2-light glazing bar casements, and above these are three similar windows with segmental heads. Above again, there are three flat-headed glazing bar casements. The east gable wall features segment-headed 20th-century windows in a similar style, except for the original 18th-century garret windows.
