Description
Maidenhatch Farmhouse is a farmhouse dating from the mid-18th century, with 20th-century additions to the east. It is constructed of red brick and features an old tile roof, with end stacks located at the north and south. The west side has two tile-hung gabled dormers, each containing 2-light casements. The building is L-shaped, with a west front that has two storeys and an attic, comprising five bays. The ground floor has 20th-century casements, which have segmental heads. The central entrance features a six-panelled door with panelled reveals and a rectangular overlight that includes glazing bars. The doorcase is adorned with Doric pilasters that support a frieze and a triangular pediment.
