Description

PARISH OF DRONFIELD CHURCH STREET SK 37 NE 6/26 11.12.79 Two pairs of gatepiers to the east of premises occupied by the Slinn Computer Group (formerly listed as two pairs of gatepiers at the pedestrian entrance to the former Health Clinic) GV II Two pairs of gatepiers. Early C19. Ashlar sandstone square on plan, with rusticated V-jointing. The piers support voussoired segmental arches, above which is a plain ashlar flat coping. The western piers are linked to the adjacent building by a stone wall. Included for group value only.
