Description
The Blue Stoops Inn is a public house dating back to 1596, with alterations made in the 18th, 19th, and 20th centuries. It is constructed from coursed rubble stone, featuring ashlar dressings and roofs made of Welsh slate. The building has two red brick ridge stacks and follows a lobby entry plan. It stands two storeys high and has a street front with four bays. The off-centre doorway has a 20th-century door set within a flush ashlar surround. To the left of the doorway is a single glazing bar sash window, while to the right are two glazing bar sashes. Above the doorway, there are three additional glazing bar sashes, all framed in flush ashlar surrounds. Inside, the inn features some large scale chamfered beams.
