Description

This is a mid-19th century house located on Main Road in the parish of Eckington. The house is constructed of coursed squared coal measures sandstone with ashlar dressings. It features coped gables with moulded kneelers, a west brick ridge stack, and a Welsh slated roof. The house is two stories and three bays wide, with 20th-century casement windows set in flush stone surrounds. The central entrance has a substantial stone surround and a lintel with an arched soffit, leading to a six-panel door. An attached boundary wall with flat coping runs alongside the property. The building is listed for group value.
