Description
The Lawns is an early 19th-century house located in the parish of Eckington. It is constructed of ashlar coal measures sandstone with ashlar dressings, featuring projecting quoins, coped gables, moulded kneelers, ashlar gable stacks, and a Welsh slated roof. The main facade is two storeys and three bays, with glazing bar sashes in plain stone surrounds. A central doorway is accentuated by pilasters and a shallow bracketed hood, leading to a four-panelled door with a margin-glazed rectangular overlight. A two-bay range extends to the rear.
