Description

PARISH OF ECKINGTON RIDGEWAY MOOR SK 48 SW 2/117 Oak House 1.8.75 II House. Early C19 with C20 additions and alterations. Roughcast coal measures sandstone with advanced chamfered quoins, coped gables with moulded kneelers and rebuilt brick gable stacks with moulded drips. Welsh slated roof. South elevation. Two storeys, three bays with recessed C20 single bay addition to west end. Central doorway with moulded architrave, radiating fanlight and open pediment. C20 six panelled door. Flanking windows are sashes with margin glazing within plain band surrounds. Rear elevation with off-centre doorway with massive surround and lintel. Two storey addition set back to west 1984.
