Description
Rumbling Street Farmhouse is a farmhouse that was originally built around 1800 and has undergone some alterations in the 20th century. The structure is made of coursed rubble coal measures sandstone, with part of the south end rendered. It features quoins, plain gables, and brick stacks on the ridge, topped with a combination of stone slates and concrete tiles. The building is two storeys high and consists of four bays in a linear layout. The double fronted farmhouse is attached to a cottage at the north end, which has a single bay with a large door surround and lintel. The cottage also includes stacked 2-light mullioned windows with a flush surround and 20th-century joinery.
