Description
This is a farm outbuilding located to the south-west of Unthank Hall, dating from the late 17th century. It is constructed of coursed rubble coal measures sandstone, featuring quoins, plain gables, and a stone slated roof. The building is single storey and consists of two bays. There is a central doorway with a quoined surround and a planked stable door. To the north-east, there is a full bay width cart opening supported by a timber lintel. At the rear elevation, there is a low lean-to. The building is listed for its group value with Unthank Hall.
