Description

Ladyshawe House is a mid-18th century house located on Bridge Street, New Mills. It is a three-story building constructed of coursed stone, with a slate roof and stacks at the gable ends. The building has rusticated quoins. The gable end facing the road features a doorway and two windows beneath lintels, with a single window above the lintels. The main elevation of the house has a round-headed, rusticated doorway with a keystone, and two windows featuring three mullion lights on the ground floor. The two upper floors each contain two windows with three mullion lights, along with one window with two mullion lights. Only one window retains its original glazing bars.
