Description
Eydon End House is an early 18th-century house located on the north side of Culworth High Street. It is constructed from coursed ironstone rubble and squared coursed stone, with a plain-tile roof and stone stacks. The house originally had three bays and two storeys. A central doorway features a plank door with an overlight, topped by a stone lintel that extends to cover the flanking side lights; a stone sundial sits above the doorway. The windows were altered in the 20th century but retain stone lintels. Ground floor windows are six-pane sashes, with a triple sash window centrally located. The gable ends are coped and feature kneelers. A lower extension, dating to the late 18th or 19th century, adjoins the left side; this portion is built of brick and has one bay. It has two-light casement windows on both floors, with wood lintels, and a brick stack to the left. The interior of the house has not been inspected.
