Description

Bridge House is a seventeenth-century house, remodelled in the twentieth century. It is constructed of coursed squared ironstone and coursed rubble, with a slate roof and a brick and stone stack. The house has two storeys and an attic, with two bays. The entrance, on the right side, has a concrete lintel and a twentieth-century door. All window openings have been enlarged in the twentieth century. Ground and first-floor windows have concrete lintels and metal casements. Twentieth-century attic dormers feature metal casements. The gable ends are coped, with kneelers. A stack is located to the left. The first-floor level was replaced in the twentieth century, and the roof timbers are said to have been renewed. The building is included for group value.
