Description
Hanslo House is a mid-18th century house situated on the south side of Avening Point Road. The house is constructed of squared and coursed rubble stone with irregular quoins and smooth stone dressings. It has a Cotswold stone slate roof with a projecting moulded cornice and parapet, and features two stone gable stacks with offset and moulded cornices. The house is arranged in a single range of three storeys and has three windows. The ground floor windows are 12-pane sashes, with the central window on the first floor blocked. The second floor has smaller sashes, with the central window also blocked, and a 20th-century window to the right. A sill band runs along the top storey, and a plat band sits between the ground and first floors. A central fielded six-panel door is accessed via a rectangular fanlight with two small wood mullions.
