Description

This is a 17th-century cottage located on the north side of Whitle Bank Road in New Mills. The cottage is constructed of coursed stone and has a new roof. It is two stories high and has two windows. The window to the right and the ground-floor windows retain their stone mullions, each with three lights. A stone porch is present, and there are two chimney stacks.
