Description

This is an 18th century farmhouse with attached farm buildings, located on Whitle Bank Road in New Mills. The farmhouse is two storeys high and constructed from coursed stone, featuring some elements from the 19th century on the front elevation. On the left side, there is an 18th century window set in a stone surround. To the right, there are two 19th century windows, also with stone surrounds and lintels. The entrance includes a round-arched doorway with a keystone and impost blocks. At the rear of the farmhouse, and positioned at right angles, are the 18th century farm buildings, also built from coursed stone.
