Description
The walls to the front of the Latin House and Latin College were built in the early 18th century and have undergone later repairs. They are made of red brick with stone dressings. The structure consists of a pair of low brick walls topped with rounded stone copings, featuring a pair of low brick piers at the center that also have rounded pyramidal copings. There are similar gate piers at the western end of the walls, and at the eastern end, there is a single brick pier with a stone pedestal topped by a cornice. These walls were constructed as part of the later school complex and are included for their group value.
