Description
The gates and walls at the Manor House date from the early 19th century. They are constructed from white brick and coursed limestone rubble, featuring ashlar dressings. The entrance includes a pair of wooden gates with a segmental top, flanked by square white brick gate piers that are topped with ashlar ball finials. Curved brick walls lead to additional single square gate piers, also topped with ball finials. Extending south, there is a 15-meter brick wall with ashlar coping. Between two square brick piers with ball finials, a low brick wall features ornate cast iron railings. Further along, there is a coursed rubble wall that is 3 meters high, curving around the corner and running east for 120 meters. This section includes a small brick and ashlar doorway with a plank door, and it has pantile coping. The structure is included for its group value only.
