Description

Church Cottage is a cottage dating from the 17th century, with some rebuilding done in 1882. The structure is made of a mix of stone rubble, timber framing, and red brick. It features a late 19th-century plain tile roof with wide overhanging eaves and a brick gable stack on the west side. The cottage is a single storey plus a garret and consists of two bays.

The south elevation is constructed of red brick and includes a segment-headed doorcase with a plank door to the east, above which is a stone plaque inscribed 'HARRISONS MEMORIAL 1882'. To the west of the door is a small-pane, segment-headed window set within an area of timber framing, and further west is a larger, blocked segment-headed window. The east gable wall has stone rubble at the base and a segment-headed garret window above it.

Inside, the cottage features a heavily beamed ceiling, an inglenook fireplace, and a winder staircase.
