Description

Thatched Barn, probably from the 18th century, is a single-storey structure located on Close Farm Lane in the parish of Dale Abbey. It is built of gritstone, red brick, and timber framing, with weather-boarding above a gritstone and brick plinth. The roof is thatched with reed. The barn has a small, almost square shape and features a doorway to the north, which is fitted with a plank door.
