Description
Boyah Grange is an early 18th-century farmhouse located on Potato Pit Lane in the parish of Dale Abbey. The building is constructed of painted brick and features a plain tile roof, with brick ridge and gable stacks. It stands two storeys high with attics and has a stone plinth. The T-plan structure has a three-bay south elevation that includes an off-centre doorway with a flat arch and a plank door. To the left of the doorway is a 3-light 18th-century casement window, followed by a 20th-century casement, and another 18th-century 3-light window to the right. Above these, there are three smaller 3-light windows. Inside, the farmhouse has exposed beams, with the principal beams being stop-chamfered, and features an inglenook fireplace. The staircase is only partly from the 18th century.
