Description

Hillside is an early 19th-century building located at 1390 Waterloo Road in Matlock Bath. It is constructed of stucco and has three storeys. The façade features one tall central sash window and two oriel windows, each with moulded underhangs, cornices, and up-swept pentice roofs. There is a plain doorway on the right side and a recessed wing on the right-hand side that includes a pointed-arched window and a lean-to roof. The building has plain eaves and a slate roof. Hillside, along with Bel-mount Cottage and Belle View, forms a group of buildings.
