Description

The Whalebones is an early 19th-century building located on the south side of Wood Street. It is two storeys high and constructed of stucco. The façade features three sash windows, with the outer windows slightly bowed within a curved section of the wall. There is a central solid stuccoed porch that has a hipped slate roof and curved-headed windows on the sides. The building has plain overhanging eaves and a hipped slate roof. The ground floor windows are French casements.
