Description

Belle View is an early to mid-19th century building in Matlock Bath, constructed of stone. It is a two-storey structure with three sash windows and a large, three-light bow window on the ground floor. The building features a plain band, moulded stone eaves, stone stacks, and a hipped slate roof. A recessed single-storeyed wing is located on the left-hand side, and it has later stucco work and a doorway with a semi-circular head and fanlight. Belle View forms a group with Hillside and Bel-mount Cottage.
