Description

Fountain Villas, Nos 72 to 86 (even), are a group of properties dating to around 1840 in Matlock Bath. They are constructed of original stone with later engraved stucco facing, and are three storeys high. The buildings feature three sash windows and two plain doorcases, each with a rectangular fanlight and Roman Doric portico. They have plain eaves, stone stacks, and a hipped slate roof. The properties form a group with the nearby Methodist Church, nos 50 to 86 (even) and nos 92, 94, and 98.
