Description

The Round House is an early 19th-century single-storey hexagonal lodge located at 1390 Waterloo Road in Matlock Bath. It is constructed of stone and features two windows with "Gothic" glazing bars on each side of a plain doorway, all topped with pointed arched heads. The lodge has an octahedron-shaped slate roof with bold eaves and a central stone chimney stack. There is a later addition on the east side.
