Description

Flimby Cottage is an early 19th-century Gothick lodge located on the west side of Main Road in Maryport. The building is two storeys high and has a pebble-dashed exterior with a hipped slate roof featuring tall stacks at both ends. It has three windows on the upper floor, two of which are arched, while the center window is oval and includes glazing bars. On the ground floor, there are two arched windows with Gothick glazing and a smaller central window without glazing bars. To the left, there is a one-storey section that contains one Gothick window and a door set in a stone surround.
