Description

Castle Hill Education Settlement is an early 19th-century building located on Maryport High Street. It is two storeys tall and has a rendered exterior with coped gable ends. The façade features three windows above two, with stone pilasters at each end. The roof is covered with slate. A prominent heavy stone porch with a moulded cornice and steps leads to the entrance, which has a six-field door beneath a rectangular fanlight. The side and rear elevations include glazing bars, and there is a bow window at the rear.
