Description

Nos 36 to 42 (even) on Brook Street date from the 18th or early 19th century. They are a row of buildings, with Nos 36 to 41 being two storeys high, and No 42 rising to three storeys. The buildings are constructed of red brick and have slate roofs. They feature four-sash windows set in flush frames, with flat arches above each window and two blank panels. Each building has an arched entrance, with the space above the arch finished with plaster. Nos 22 to 44 (even) form a group of buildings of moderate quality.
