Description

The Ferry House is a two-storey building with an attic, dating from 1852. It is located on the north side of the quay and is constructed of red brick. The building features a parapet with a moulded stucco cornice and a band below the parapet. There are four sash windows with flush frames and flat arches, with the central window having only a single glazing bar. On the left side, three windows are grouped together, and there is a central entrance door. The door is a six-pane design set in a wooden case, which is adorned with Doric pilasters and a pediment featuring a key fret and dentils.
