Description

Quay House is an early 18th-century building of red brick, originally two storeys and with an attic. The rear of the building is timber-framed and plastered, with brick gable ends, and retains an original tile roof. Two 3-light sash windows have been added to the front, along with a central, two-storey oriel window matching the style. The main entrance features an 8-panel fielded door with an arched radial bar fanlight set within a wooden surround incorporating Doric columns, a pulvinate frieze, and a bracketed pediment. At the rear are gabled two-storey wings with brick verges. These wings have three sash windows each.
