Description

No. 17 Brook Street is a building dating from 1852, located on the west side of the street. It is a late 18th century or early 19th century structure that stands two storeys high with a hipped pantile roof and small eaves soffit that is tendered and lined. The building features four sash windows set in flush frames, which now only have vertical glazing bars, including a slightly advanced wing on the left side. The entrance is arched and includes a six-panel door with fielded panels and a radial bar fanlight. The building faces south onto a triangular garden. Nos. 11 to 17 (odd) form a group.
